GREER, SC – Tom Dillard and his team have opened The Cottage Group, LLC, a new residential construction company serving the buyer than desires a quality custom home with a smaller footprint.
A sister company of Dillard-Jones Builders, The Cottage Group offers a growing collection of house plans that includes the company’s own Cottage Group portfolio along with some of the most popular Southern Living house plans ranging from 2,000 square feet to 3,500 square feet. Jim Brophy has joined the staff of Dillard-Jones Builders, LLC as marketing and sales manager for the lake region of Oconee County.
Brophy recently retired from Caterpillar Inc. after a 40-year career serving in various executive positions including product manager, operations director, plant manager, and managing director of a Caterpillar subsidiary in Europe. His experience includes design and development of Caterpillar earthmoving and agricultural products, as well as production processes and customer support of those products.
Most recently a resident of Raleigh NC, Brophy now resides in The Cliffs at Keowee Falls in a Dillard-Jones home completed in 2008.
