Please help your Home Builders Association congratulate Herb Yingling, the new Chief Building Official at Greenville County. Herb was previously the Commercial Plan Review Manager. He succeeds John McLeod, who retired in July.
John McLeod, Chief Building Official for Greenville County, announced his retirement back in June, leading Greenville County and the Home Builders Association to host a reception in his honor last Thursday. Local builders joined together to wish John a happy retirement and thank him for his years of service to the industry. Thank you to everyone who attended and thank you to John for everything he has done for housing in Greenville!

John McLeod, Chief Building Official for Greenville County, has announced his retirement effective July 15, 2016.
Greenville County and the Home Builders Association will host a reception in John’s honor on Thursday, July 14, 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., at Greenville County Square in Conference Room D. Please plan to attend and see John into his retirement.
