The HBA of Greenville Board of Directors voted recently to disavow its endorsement of a warranty document that had been endorsed more than 20 years ago.

“Many of our builder members continue to use the warranty,” Michael Dey, Executive Vice President of the HBA of Greenville, said. “However, the warranty has become outdated and the Board of Directors, in consultation with the association’s General Counsel, Scott Bradley of Gallivan, White, and Boyd, determined it is no longer worthy of the association’s recommendation.

The Board of Directors reaffirmed its endorsement of the 2-10 Homebuyer’s Warranty Program and encourages members of the HBA of Greenville to consider the 2-10 program for its warranty needs.
