In the Community

Members of the Home Builders Association of Greenville participate in numerous projects throughout the year that help make Greater Greenville a better place to live and work. From construction to fundraising and financial contributions, our members donate their time, talent and resources to ongoing programs in the community.

Every Tuesday, a team of our members drive a route for Meals on Wheels, delivering hot meals to the elderly and homebound in Greenville County. In the past, we have participated in the weatherization and improvement projects for Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County, an Approved Professional Builder, as well as assisting Habitat for Humanity with the restoration of existing houses that they then make available to their clients.

Below are other examples of past community service initiatives.

Community Building and Renovation Projects HBA Approved Professional Remodelers have contributed to several local construction and renovation projects in recent years, including the renovation of the old bathhouse at Paris Mountain State Park into a new Park Center. Members also built new office space at Miracle Hill Ministries and the picnic shelter at Shoeless Joe Jackson Park in West Greenville. More recently, our members renovated several cabins at Camp Buckhorn at Paris Mountain State Park. In addition, Association members participated in the renovations of the Ronald McDonald House of Greenville.
