Your HBA of Greenville’s Community Service Committee needs your help. The committee has accepted a project with Rebuild Upstate (formerly ReWiGo) to help a family in the Pelzer area.  The project will require 10-12 volunteers. The work day will be held Saturday, June 27th from 8-3p.m.
Here are the project details:

Description of Work: Flooring/ Ceiling replacement

Background: Dianne and Lloyd wicks are 64 and 68 years old respectively. They have recently taken guardianship over two little boys from family friends who have drug problems. They are Max (4) and BradLee (2). Lloyd was able to do these kinds of repairs on his own. He was replacing the roof that caused the ceiling damage when he fell off the roof and broke his hip and legs. He has not fully recovered from that. His grandson helped him finish the roof, but the ceiling still needs to be repaired, and the floors are getting soft in two of the bathrooms. With the two little boys it can be dangerous for them to go into these rooms.
