Three-In-One Membership
When you join the Home Builders Association of Greenville, you also become a member of the Home Builders Association of South Carolina and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Advocacy
A local membership of more than 650 and an affiliation with more than 235,000 building industry professionals nationwide give Home Builders Association of Greenville members a powerful political voice locally, statewide and in the nation's capital. The HBA of Greenville Government Affairs office keeps members informed about legislative issues of local interest, while the Home Builders Association of South Carolina and the National Association of Home Builders defend affordable housing initiatives in the Statehouse and on Capitol Hill.

Education & Training
The Home Builders Association of Greenville coordinates training and certification programs such as EarthCraft HouseTM to help its members gain and maintain a competitive edge. The association also holds annual updates on International Building Codes in conjunction with the City and County of Greenville, SC, and sponsors a local web cast of the National Association of Home Builders' bi-annual Construction Forecast Conference.

Insurance
An affiliation with the Home Builders Association of South Carolina allows HBA of Greenville members to receive discounted rates on Builders Risk/Workers Comp Insurance through the South Carolina Home Builders Self Insurers Fund. Established in 1995, SCHBSIF is an organization of qualified members of the Home Builders Association of South Carolina who have joined together to provide a stable, cost effective and secure source for workers' compensation coverage. An extensive network of independent insurance agents throughout South Carolina markets the program.

Member Discounts
Affiliation with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) entitles HBA of Greenville members to discounts on hotel accommodations, car rental, office products, shipping and overnight delivery, and more through affinity programs with companies like Dell Computers, Office Depot, Pitney Bowes, Hertz, UPS and General Motors. Locally, members of the Home Builders Association of Greenville receive discounts on computers, related equipment and computer training through a partnership with CompUSA.

Marketing Opportunities
The Home Builders Association of Greenville presents both trade-only and consumer events throughout the year that help maximize the sales and marketing efforts of its members. From event sponsorship opportunities to Table Top Night, HBA of Greenville encourages 'Members Doing Business With Members'. Members also receive discounted rates for exhibit space in the Southern Home & Garden Show, the largest consumer show of its kind in South Carolina and one of the largest in the Southeast.

HBA of Greenville members also receive discounted advertising rates in Greenville Home & Garden magazine, which is published the third Saturday of each month and inserted in the Greenville News.
